Two New Classes with Leslie Muir-Volpe

Ever gawk in amazement at the miniatures displayed in quilt shows and magazines? Ever wonder, “How do they do that?” Leslie Muir-Volpe will be teaching two new workshops - Nifty Nines and Petite Runners. Leslie is the designer/owner of Flying Fox Quilts.  She does extraordinary work and we are very pleased to have her teach at Cotton Weeds. In these classes you’ll review the “Twenty Tips for Tiny Quilts” and cover all the techniques of traditional quilt making but adapt them to working small. Sign up early as space is limited! Mainely Fun Quilt Shop Hop

 Starts May 1, 2, 3, & 4, 2008. April showers bring May flowers! This is the perfect time to gather up your friends, carpool and visit 8 wonderful shops with lots of great goodies and new ideas. Starting March 1, purchase your passport for $7.50 and receive a sign up gift! (while supplies last). Pizza Night

Join us for lots of fun on PMS night (pizza, munchies and sewing)! We share, laugh and sew from 6:00-10:00PM. Pizza, drinks and a special dessert will be provided (15.00 per person, advance sign-up required). You can work on whatever project you would like, machine or hand.
